My First Vat advice

My first VAT advice dates from 2004, when I started my traineeship as a lawyer at the VAT department of an international tax law firm. One of my first experiences was preparing a case before the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg concerning the VAT rate applicable on private movie shows.

Experience

I advised national and international businesses on all kind of matters related to VAT. Advising clients on structuring their business, representing clients before the tax authorities, performing VAT audits and screenings and organizing VAT trainings are part of my daily practice.

VAT Focus areas

I am particularly interested in real estate business transactions, but also like working on goods and service transactions in operational business environments.

The reason I like working at Vatsquare

Offering pragmatic and actionable advice to our clients gives me a lot of satisfaction. On top of that, working with colleagues who are always in for fun make it a perfect place to work for me.
