Throughout my career, I always focused on the development of a state-of-the-art VAT practice.

As junior advisor with Arthur Andersen, I was the key driver for developing the VAT practice at the company’s Ghent office.

After a merger with Deloitte, I moved to Central Europe, where I helped in developing the local Deloitte unit’s tax practices after EU accession. I lived in Bratislava and Budapest for years, and have great experience with large inbound investment projects in Central Europe and I am culturally aware of the region.

On my return to Belgium, I was involved in certain start-up projects and I was one of the co-founders of Vatsquare.
